Florida here we come!! Tommy just accepted a six-month internship with Citigroup in Miami, Florida, starting in January 09. So soon!! This was a pretty tough decision to make. We both have to postpone our graduation dates...I would have graduated next semester, April of 09, but now I'm up for December of 09. It's all good, though. I decided that it's more important for Tommy to get a good internship, which will help him get a better job when he graduates, than it is for me to graduate in April. Tommy is also postponing his graduation from April 2010 to December 2010... just six months.
We are planning on leaving January 2nd. We'll take our time driving out, checking out the rest of the country, seeing famous sites, etc. Once we get there, I'm gonna fill out applications like CRAZY!!! I want to get a full-time job at the bank, but if that's not possible, I'll just work on my TAN. Great idea, eh. My mother-in-law gave it to me. I'll relax, take it easy, and let him do all the work. :-) ....kidding...I'll work...but maybe at a department store where I can get great deals on clothes.
About the Internship: Tommy boy will be working in the Latin American Global Transaction Services. He will be working with 29 different Latin American countries doing....financial stuff. Not exactly sure. There are 6 other guys from BYU going down as well. So we'll have our own little possie of Utahns to hang out with.
I'm excited for a new adventure! I've been needing some change in my life and I think this will do the trick... We get to skip outta winter! Woo Hoo Neither of us are big skiiers, we're a little weary of sledding (with two instances of near-death experiences) and we don't like driving in snow...so going to Florida for the winter couldn't have come at a better time! Right! Right!

Why the heck do you have an arrow pointing to some sort of Villa on the Gulf Coast side?? It's pointing to the wrong side of Florida...Miami is on the EAST SIDE smart girl.

That is an exciting bit of news =). Yes, January would be a GREAT time to leave Utah or Idaho Falls for that matter. Maybe we will come visit! You know how much I love the winter. I might be able to steal Richard away from one weekend of snowboarding.
