Key West

In May, we went to Key West with just the three of us - Tommy, Me, and Bay. We had such a blast. Key West is about 4 hours south of South Beach. It is the southermost point of the United States. We drove through several small islands to get there, including a 7-mile bridge. The bridge was awesome. For most of the drive, the scenery was pretty much the same -- blue ocean, blue sky, and small islands. Absolutely gorgeous drive!!!

This is a Tiki Hut we had lunch in. After lunch, people could go swimming in the pool. The food was delicious...but it took FOREVER to get our food. It was nice to relax and get out of the car for a while.

This is a picture from the 7-mile bridge.

At our Hotel, there was this huge Chess board.
We didn't play any games, but it would have been fun.

Tommy sitting on someone else's boat. :) We made him get in.

A swing at the hotel. It was in a romantic spot facing the ocean.

Bay looking gorgeous in her new tan.

This is at the Southernmost Hotel. In case you are wondering, the word "southermost" is a real word...So I'm trying to use it correctly. :)

Tommy and me at the Southernmost point of the U.S.

Bay and Tommy at the same spot.

And here is where all the official photos are taken.

We decided to walk down the residential streets of Key West to get a feel for what it would be like to live there.

Here we are eating at a hometown restaurant. Food was tasty!

And that's the end of our trip. I actually took you through it backwards, since this restaurant pic was the first picture we took, but you would never know, right?!!
