So we finally used the tent my dad bought us last year! We had a ward campout last week and it was so much fun! I was DETERMINED to stay throught the night because Tommy and I have NEVER GONE CAMPING together! Which is crazy, considering I grew up in the mountains with my family...

Okay, maybe I didn't grow up in the mountains, but I have missed going camping.


This picture was taken after we set up our tent. It was fun pulling everything out of the bag and setting it all up. My dad actually bought us an entire set that came with the tent, sleeping bags, two pillows, a flashlight, a compass, two mug holders and a small soft cooler. Not bad for $70 bucks!

This is the morning after a long night of no sleep! We forgot to put the air mattress in the car. I was exhausted by the time morning came. Being 6 1/2 months pregnant and sleeping on the ground with no cushion was not ideal for my beauty rest.

So come to find out, Tommy tossed and turned all night long cuz he was cold... What a baby! I guess I could have offered him one of the two blankets I had on top of me. :) ha ha I was nice 'n warm!!!

I felt bad for stealing the blankets, but he said he didn't want any when we went to sleep; I swear!

Next time we go camping, I'll make certain the air mattress gets put in the car, along with extra blankets for the sissies!!
